I found this really cool Pagan shop in Portland, so Lacey and I planned what we have termed our 'Ptown Adventure'..........

Leaving Apartment D

We bought our Max tickets, and waited for it to arrive.

On the Max.

We caught bus 14 after the Max. When we were looking for the bus stop, we accidently took the long way to it. It was actually just right down from the Max station, but we walked all the way around.....it was hot that day too (well, hot for October)!

Lacey is pointing to the bus stop sign.

Our street destination.

After picking up some incence (which is the BEST incense I have ever used) from the cool pagan shop, we decided to eat some lunch.

Inside the restaraunt.

My lunch.

Lacey eating her lunch....ha, ha.

I just kept snapping pictures of her while she was putting her food in her leftover box, and this one is priceless!

Monkeyin around across the street.

The writing on the wall is by the poet Sylvia Plath (kinda depressing actually. For those that don't know that poet, she did end up comitting suicide):
Cobwebs touched my face with the softness of moths. Wrapping my black coat round me like my own sweet shadow, I unscrewed the bottle of pills and started taking them swiftly, between gulps of water, one by one by one. At first nothing happened, but as i approached the bottom of the bottle, red and blue lights began to flash before my eyes. The bottle slid from my fingers and i lay down. The silence drew off, baring the pebbles and shells and all the tatty wreckage of my life. Then, at the rim of vision, it gathered itself, and in one sweeping tide, rushed me to sleep.

This was an alley across the street from where we ate lunch.

Waiting for the bus that would take us back to the max station so we could go home. We were super tired and ready to be on our way.
