I met Lacey on Monday, we hung out a bit at the place she's staying at, and then we went hunting for a place to eat. We originally wanted to eat at our old fave place Old Chicago, but they werent open yet, so she suggested Don Pedros. I hadn't been there before (it was flippin delish), and she wanted to go eat it somewhere different. So, I thought about a park, but then drove by a big cemetary and decided to just stop in there because I didn't want our food to get cold. As we are getting ready to eat, Lacey decided to look up and see who we would be eating next to, and wouldn't ya know it.....this was the gravestone we parked next to, without even realizing it.....

Why a Ptown blog?

Well, I decided to make an entirely new blog about the times I had while I was not with my family. I hung out with some fellow dorks, and although it wasn't always great, we had a lot of fun! In addition to my picture posts, some of my favorite memories.........

  Marlin: I told this story about how I caught a Marlin while fishing, and didn't even need help reeling it in......everyone knew I was full of crap, so anytime anyone made up a story, we called it a Marlin.

  Pickles and Ketchup: We made tacos together for the first time and Lacey told me she puts pickles on her tacos.....I'm like "oh my god, so do I", then I told her I also put ketchup on them too, and she was like "oh my god, so do I". So, our nicknames for each other were pickles and ketchup!

  Singing tunes together: Me and Lacey would sing 'Gunpowder and Lead' by Miranda Lambert while doing hand motions........'If I were a Boy' by Beyonce was always a blast because we'd make up our own words, and it would be different every time.....'Jessies Girl' by Rick Springfield, I eventually got Lance to really belt this one out with me!

Ptown Visit

A few weeks afer moving back to Salem, I went to Portland to visit Lacey for the day. We picked up Corey too, but Lance couldn't come.

Random Day

Me talking probably about something really important....ya, right!

Corey sitting on my exercise ball. The kids always liked to fight over this ball.....ha, ha. We ended up naming it......wait for it.....'The Ball'! Oh, and I see in the background it looks like Lacey took out the garbage (which was just taking it out of the garbage can and putting it on the floor).


Awwww......Lance and Corey coloring together. I bought one of those cool posters that you color. John and I use to color those things all the time. I bought it on one of my many quit smoking attempts to keep me occupied. The poster is shown in the picture of me at the top.

Pumpkin Carving

We had some pumpkins that we did't carve for Halloween (I didn't even go to the pumpkin patch for Halloween, that sucked), and one night when Levi and I were just hanging out together, he asked if we could carve them. One of them was gross, so we first walked that one to the garbage, but the other one was still in good shape. He was very excited, and he even called me "the best pumpkin carver in the world", uh, he hasn't seen many pumpkins carved I'm guessing....ha, ha.

This picture came out blurry, but he insisted I get his picture with the pumpkin outside.

He thought the ears were the coolest thing ever. He had never seen ears on a pumpkin before!

He was trying to bite the pumpkin for some reason.....lol.

Halloween

Jackie and Heather came to Ptown to spend Halloween with me and Lacey. They told us we HAD to dress up. It was freakin too cold outside to do much, but we dressed up anyways. Lacey just threw her outfit together, and it turned into an 80's workout costume....lol. The funniest part of the night was when we decided to go to Taco Bell for some food, and I dared Lacey to start working out inside TB. She did, and then she went outside and did some more. It was hilarious, but this guys wife didn't like it much cause her man was enjoying the 80's workout a bit too much I think!
